MITB Sports

We at M.I.T.B. Sports would like to allow players the opportunity to play and win in so many ways. You win points for each game you win. These points can be used to get gifts and tennis gear. When you win your division, you win additional points towards gifts and tennis gear. You go into the playoffs and the Champion gets points and a monetary award of 20% of the total registered for that level.

To keep the different levels as competitive as possible, M.I.T.B. Sports will use USTA NTRP ratings, ALTA Levels, T2Tennis, Ultimate Tennis and TennisRecord.com to substantiate and average out players playing levels.

It’s time that a new tennis league gave back to the players!!

Eric SIMMONS

Father of two and loving husband to a beautiful and wonderful woman. I have spent most of my life in Atlanta playing baseball in high school. I was recruited by UGA and Florida State. Unfortunately, due to a knee injury I was not able to play. I learned how to play tennis at Middle Georgia College. The knowledge I gained helped me advance through the different levels of play. Over the years I have captained many of teams and have be blessed to win Divisions, City Finals and State Championships. I am a teaching pro in the Powder Springs, Ga area. I play all of the local leagues and have a lot of fun teaching my 6 year old son how to play as well.

I have played tennis since I was 18 years old. I really do love this sport. I am married with 3 beautiful children and a very patient wife that allows me to play in every tennis league available. I have played a number of leagues where the end result is the City Finals and another where you have the chance to go to State, Sectionals and Nationals. It is really nice to play at these levels, but it can be expensive at times. I would like to see if the tennis community would participate in a league where you could actually “Get Paid to Play”. I hope that the Atlanta Tennis community would give it a try.
